TYI'SHAUWN WATKINS

Founder & Executive Director

Tyi'Shauwn Glanice Watkins, MSW, is the Founder and Executive Director of Loving Life Again Foundation (LLAF), a trauma-informed nonprofit organization serving Los Angeles County and Orange County. With more than 20 years of experience in behavioral health, social work, crisis intervention, housing, youth development, and community advocacy, she has dedicated her career to helping individuals and families overcome barriers and achieve long-term stability.

Inspired by both her professional experience and personal journey, Tyi'Shauwn founded LLAF in 2025 with a vision to create compassionate, culturally responsive programs that empower youth, strengthen families, and improve community well-being. As a mother, advocate, and community leader, she believes that every individual deserves access to hope, healing, opportunity, and the support needed to thrive.

Through Loving Life Again Foundation, Tyi'Shauwn continues to lead with compassion, integrity, and purpose—building healthier families, stronger communities, and brighter futures.

COMMITMENT TO EDUCATION & ADVOCACY

As the first person in her family to earn a bachelor's degree, Tyi'Shauwn understands the life-changing power of education.

She earned her Bachelor of Social Work in 2024 and went on to receive her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Pacific Oaks College. Her educational journey reflects her commitment to lifelong learning, professional excellence, and community leadership.

She believes education, advocacy, and trauma-informed care are essential to creating healthier communities and empowering individuals to reach their full potential.

A VISION FOR LASTING IMPACT

Tyi'Shauwn's passion for serving others extends far beyond her profession. Throughout her career, she has worked alongside individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health challenges, family crises, unemployment, and other barriers to stability. Her trauma-informed, person-centered approach continues to shape every program and service offered by the foundation. Today, she leads Loving Life Again Foundation with compassion, integrity, and purpose, building stronger families, healthier communities, and lasting opportunities for those in need.

Her personal journey has been marked by extraordinary resilience. Having undergone six heart surgeries, she has experienced firsthand the power of hope, perseverance, and compassionate care. These experiences continue to inspire her leadership and deepen her commitment to serving others with empathy and understanding.
