At Loving Life Again Foundation (LLAF), we believe meaningful change happens with the community—not just for it. Our Community Advisory Board brings together youth, caregivers, educators, service providers, and community leaders to guide the vision, programming, and accountability of LLAF’s trauma-informed and culturally responsive services.

Tyi'Shauwn Watkins | Founder & Executive Director

Tyi’Shauwn is a passionate community leader, case manager, and advocate for trauma-informed, culturally responsive care. With over 28 years of experience in mental health case management, she has dedicated her career to supporting individuals and families navigating homelessness, violence, grief, and systemic inequities. Tyi’Shauwn is a first-generation college graduate, having earned her B.A. in Social Work in 2024, and is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work (MSW) at Pacific Oaks College.

As a single mother, survivor, and healer, she brings lived experience, empathy, and unwavering determination to her role as founder and Executive Director of LLAF. Her leadership is grounded in a commitment to creating safe spaces for healing, empowerment, and lasting change in underserved communities.

Christina Garibaldi-Morales | Director of Program Development & Community Engagement

Christina is a public health strategist, researcher, and future physician with a deep commitment to equity and culturally responsive care. She holds a Master of Science in Global Health Sciences from the University of California, San Francisco and is currently completing her medical education with plans to specialize in OB/GYN.

Christina brings a unique blend of clinical insight, research, and lived experience to her leadership at LLAF. Her background includes case management for individuals living with HIV/AIDS, survivors of trauma, and underserved youth. At LLAF, she leads curriculum development and community engagement, integrating trauma-informed practices, health equity frameworks, and storytelling to support healing and resilience in system-impacted communities.

Denoval Hawkins | Community Advisory Board Member 

Denoval brings over 20 years of experience in community leadership and youth engagement as an intervention specialist supervisor at the Los Angeles Unified School District. His work primarily revolves around nurturing and counseling children from low-income families, especially those in single-parent households and the foster care systemDenoval's commitment extends beyond the school environment; he actively advocates for these children, providing mentorship and connecting them with vital community resources.

Throughout his career, he has spearheaded numerous initiatives aimed at improving the lives of individuals in various neighborhoods. His efforts include offering essential support to housing insecure and homeless populations through the collection and distribution of donated food, clothing, and transportation services for medical appointments, church visits, and local food drives.

Denoval’s lived experience navigating systemic barriers fuels his commitment to advocacy, ensuring that LLAF’s programs are responsive, accessible, and culturally inclusive. 

Dr. Anthony A. Davis Sr. | Community Advisory Board Member

Dr. Davis Sr. is a passionate educator, pastor, and community leader dedicated to empowering individuals and transforming communities through education, faith, and leadership development.

He currently serves as Math Intervention Specialist at Watts Learning Center in Los Angeles, where he designs and implements programs to close academic gaps and create equitable opportunities for student success. In addition, he is the Pastor of The ROCK Church Digital and the Leadership Catalyst for the African American Black Council (AABC) of the Reformed Church in America. Through these roles, Dr. Davis mentors emerging leaders, strengthens intergenerational connections, and advocates for social justice on both local and national levels.

Blending academic rigor with real-world application, Dr. Davis has built a strong record of uniting schools, churches, and community organizations to address systemic inequities, promote mental and spiritual wellness, and inspire lasting transformation.

As a single father and lifelong mentor, he brings a personal commitment to restoring hope, resilience, and purpose in others—living out his belief that every person has the potential to rise, rebuild, and thrive.

Dr. Brittnae Stallworth | Community Advisory Board Member 

Dr. Brittnae Stallworth has over nine years of experience in the field of psychology, specializing in clinical care, crisis intervention, and substance use treatment.

She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from California State University, Long Beach; her Master’s Degree in Legal & Forensic Psychology from the University of California, Irvine; and her Doctorate (Psy.D.) in Applied Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Dr. Stallworth has extensive experience working with individuals living with severe mental illness and substance use disorders in both outpatient and residential treatment settings. She has also provided critical support to individuals in crisis requiring immediate intervention and hospitalization. Most recently, she served on the Crisis Response Team for the Anaheim Police Department and is currently a Registered Psychological Associate at Twin Town Treatment Centers, where she provides therapy services, supervises staff, and supports program administration.

Driven by compassion and commitment, Dr. Stallworth focuses on delivering excellent care to those who need it most, with a dedication to fostering healing, resilience, and long-term wellness.

Coach Reggie Ward | Community Advisory Board Member

"Be Bold, Be Courageous and Be Excellent” 

Coach Reggie Ward is a native of Long Beach, California. He is the CEO and Founder of L.E.G.A.X.Y. Life Coaching, a consulting firm that supports growth and collaboration across education, athletics, and corporate communities.

A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, certified life coach, and former professional football player, Coach Ward brings more than 35 years of experience in mentorship, sales training, and communication development. He is also the author of The Power of "I". Coach Reggie focuses on fostering confidence, leadership, and character development.

Beyond his professional work, Coach Ward is a man of faith, married for over 27 years, and a proud father of four. He enjoys sports, gospel music, and exploring Asian cuisines. His guiding purpose is to serve others and build a lasting legacy for his family, church, and community.
